She decided to join us a little early–Katherine Morrison Barboza, born 4/9/14 at 12:07 am, 7 lbs 4 oz. Just missed sharing Grandma’s and her great-grandfather’s birthdays by 7 minutes!
Kate spent a couple days in the NICU because of some lab numbers, but everything turned out fine and we were home in time for the weekend.

Baby shower
Suzanne, Vero, and Robbie hosted our baby shower at my parents’ house on March 22nd. Here are some photos from the big event.
The theme of the shower was honey bees. Here’s the amazing diaper cake Vero made. The favors were tiny pots of honey.
